This past Saturday was Kylie Jenner’s birthday. The Kardashian family usually does it very big when it comes to celebrations – birthdays, holidays, baby showers, engagements – any reason to throw a party. Kylie’s birthday was no exception of course.
To start the celebrations off early, Travis Scott (Kylie’s boyfriend and father of their child, Stormi), not to be outdone, followed in Kanye’s footsteps and filled Kylie’s house with roses. The floor was completely covered by rose petals so that you literally could not see the ground.
This follows Kanye’s similar declaration of love for Kim on Valentines day.
I think I’m pro-Kylie’s house here because I know how clumsy I am. One wrong step would probably create a domino effect of breaking glass. I’m always curious to know what goes into the displays – how much does all of this cost? (Of course, not of particular concern to the Kardashians). How long do they keep the display in the house? Is it just an hour for instagram or do they keep the flowers in the house for multiple days? While mere mortals like me have all these questions, this is seemingly just how the Kardashians show affection for one another.
For her birthday, Kylie released the Birthday collection under Kylie Cosmetics, her brand that’s made her a billionaire. Because the Kardashians are experts at marketing, Kylie released a video on her Youtube page (which has over 6 million subscribers) of her and Khloe drunk while getting ready using Kylie’s new Birthday collection. The two casually get plastered off of 42 Don Julio (if only) while trying to put a full face of makeup on. They call Kris, Kim, Malika and Sophia Richie who all give their own funny soundbites. Sophia and Corey Gamble (Kris’ boyfriend) show up at the end and start taking pulls of the handle in the background. By this point, Kylie and Khloe are completely wasted. If you love the Kardashians (which as I warned you, I do), this video is exactly what you want out of them. Obviously others agree, as the video already has over 8.1 million views.
Because Kylie is a billionaire queen, she spent her actual birthday on a $350 million yacht in the Mediterranean – we peasants can only imagine. Of course, more flowers awaited her in the shape of a gigantic 22 and balloons filled the hallways of the yacht. For her party, she donned an outrageous diamond necklace (a birthday present from Travis) and a feathery hot-pink dress.
Her whole family posted adorable instagram posts in her honor on Saturday but the best post came from Kylie herself who posted a video of baby Stormi and her singing Happy Birthday. Stormi’s adorableness won Kylie the best Kylie birthday social media post. Clearly, Kylie won the day in every way.
